Njournal Notes 5.0 Visualization

An nTu can be seen as a triangle. Since Nemetic code is content agnostic, in this case I will choose sender, receiver, observer to be the nodes of the triangle. I will also use Notice. Engage. Exchange as the nodes of the triangle shape.

Once visualized as a triad it is a short step to see a conversation can create connected triads which gives us a tetrahedron.

In geometry, a tetrahedron (plural: tetrahedra or tetrahedrons) is a polyhedron composed of four triangular faces, six straight edges, and four vertex corners. The tetrahedron is the simplest of all the ordinary convex polyhedra and the only one that has fewer than 5 faces.[1]The tetrahedron is the three-dimensional case of the more general concept of aEuclidean simplex.
The tetrahedron is one kind of pyramid, which is a polyhedron with a flat polygonbase and triangular faces connecting the base to a common point. In the case of a tetrahedron the base is a triangle (any of the four faces can be considered the base), so a tetrahedron is also known as a "triangular pyramid".
Like all convex polyhedra, a tetrahedron can be folded from a single sheet of paper. It has two such nets.[1]For any tetrahedron there exists a sphere (called the circumsphere) on which all four vertices lie, and another sphere (the insphere) tangent to the tetrahedron's faces.

If we add motion to a tetrahedron we see this..

We can fill in the nPlex box, with the structure above.

My conjecture is  it will be helpful to see that as the structure turns it encounters similar nPlexes in it's environment.  Since the nodes are Notice. Engage. Exchange. when a node comes close to a node in the environmental nPlex they are attracted.  Depending on the location of Notice. Engage. Exchange the attraction will be stronger. Over time a strong connection will be persistant. To the extent that it is persistent it can be called an nCell denoted by nCe.

NJournal Notes 4.0 NemiPlex

Nemeplex. is the Nemetic code for "assemblage"

One component is a memeplex.
groups of memes called meme complexes, or memeplexes. are like the gene complexes found in biology, memeplexes are groups of memes that are often found present in the same individual. Applying the theory of Universal Darwinism, memeplexes group together because memes will copy themselves more successfully when they are "teamed up". Examples include sets of memes like singing and guitar playing, or the Christmas tree and Christmas dinner.
It is different from a memeplex in that, like assemblage, it includes the material world as a critical element. Using the RGB wave view, the meme resides in the Bwave. Materiality resides in the Rwave. They interact at the Gwave.

Assemblage
A New Philosophy of Society: Assemblage Theory and Social Complexity is a 2006 book by Manuel DeLanda. he book employs Gilles Deleuze's theory of assemblages (from A Thousand Plateaus) to posit social entities on all scales (from sub-individual to transnational) that are best analysed through their components (themselves assemblages).
As an example of an assemblage (as defined by DeLanda) consider an ecosystem:
  • The material role here is performed by the soil, sunlight, trees, animals, etc.
  • The expressive role is performed by the forms, colours, habits, etc. of the aforementioned components.
  • The territorializing role would be played by factors such as food chains, adaptive traits, conducive climate and other elements that maintain the components and their relationships and thus the identity and durability of the assemblage.
  • The deterritorializing role would be played by such factors as climate change, invasion by exotic species, evolutionarymutation and other elements that recombine or replace various components and roles within the assemblage, leading to its dissipation or reformulation.
  • A linguistic/coding role could be played by an environmental discourse seeking to protect an ecosystem.

NJournal Notes 3.0 - Towards Notation for Living Systems

NEME = a quanta of information or energy.

Let neme = nP

nP can denote a book, a movie, a youtube video, a carbon atom, a joule, a speech act, a gesture, a tweet, a comment at Facebook or LI, etc.

Let nPx = the exchange of nP To denote exchange of Ego's nP with Alter's nP .
EnP <==> AnP

In general
nPx < == > nPx < == > nPx < == >nPx < == > nPx ..... = nSt ( nString )

then:
nSt < == > nSt < = = > nSt < = = > nSt < = = > nSt ..... = nTu (nTube)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Neme = nP has a physical, cognitive, emotional component.

nPhys = physical component
nCog = congnitive component nEmo = emotional componenet

Internal structure of an Np is denoted by
( nCog ) ( nEmo ) ( nPhys ) = nP A possible next step to use the notation of organic chemistry.

In =nP=nP=nP=nP=nP=nP= substitute "=nP= " with the notation for a Carbon atom =C=
which results in

=C=C=C=C=C=C=

The notion is we will be able to produce pictures that look like..

NJournal Notes 2.0

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multifractal_system

A multifractal system is a generalization of a fractal system in which a single exponent (thefractal dimension) is not enough to describe its dynamics; instead, a continuous spectrum of exponents (the so-called singularity spectrum) is needed.[1]
Multifractal systems are common in nature, especially geophysics. They include fully developed turbulence, stock market time series, real world scenes, the Sun’s magnetic field time series, heartbeat dynamics, human gait, and natural luminosity time series. Models have been proposed in various contexts ranging from turbulence in fluid dynamics to internet traffic, finance, image modeling, texture synthesis, meteorology, geophysics and more. The origin of multifractality in sequential (time series) data has been attributed to mathematical convergence effects related to the central limit theorem that have as foci of convergence the family of statistical distributions known as the Tweedie exponential dispersion models[2]as well as the geometric Tweedie models.[3] The first convergence effect yields monofractal sequences and the second convergence effect is responsible for variation in the fractal dimension of the monofractal sequences.[4]

From a practical perspective, multifractal analysis uses the mathematical basis of multifractal theory to investigate datasets, often in conjunction with other methods offractal analysis and lacunarity analysis. The technique entails distorting datasets extracted from patterns to generate multifractal spectra that illustrate how scaling varies over the dataset. The techniques of multifractal analysis have been applied in a variety of practical situations such as predicting earthquakes and interpreting medical images.[5][6][7]

Notes for the Nemetic Journal 1.0

From a Facebook Exchange...

Me: Fascinating. I'm trying to think through how that works for a vibrant conversation thread. It strikes me that your description is very similar to the design process which I describe as Notice.Engage. Mull. Exchange.

Her: Yes, "Notice.Engage. Mull. Exchange" seems apt, though takes on different dimensions when done in a studied way, allowing you to study and record the stages and parts for reference and connection later, trace and retrace steps looking for how they are embedded, and considering the various directions it can be taken. That's a great connection to make though, the high mental art of "noticing and engaging and mull over things to exchange what you learn" is what people who have really opened their minds do moment to moment. That it's an artful practice might be documented for teaching too, and always good to check one's self on.

Me: Our approach is to focus on the interactions instead of the content. For the content it is as you say it needs a journalist or a brilliant writer.

It works like this ( excuse the nemetic language )

A conversation is conducted by personas who emit nemes ( comments). In principle we can harvest the frequency of nemes. If you are lucky the nemes will contain the name of another persona. That is an indication of exchange. When the exchanges are persistent nStrings start to form. If there are two names in an exchange nStrings are beginning the process. Over time it will create a small nTube. As nTubes emerge they start to gain coherence. With persistence nTubes will reach a critical threshold. With the production of an artifact ( collaborative Exchange ) the whole conversation gains coherence by the emerging Intent to build something.

On a more practical level, if you have time/date stamped comments, you can map the frequencies of exchange. It will make it easier for the journalist to Notice what should be noticed. A click on the console would take anyone to the area of high frequency. Go through the content of the comments to produce a new neme ( the written piece ) which will produce a state change.

You can watch how this plays out at The Facebook Thread
